The Black Lion is a grade II listed building and dates back to the late 18th Century. The pub has three storeys.
The interior has been modernised but features older wood panneling. One of the great things about the pub is that it revived the use of its skittle alley a few years ago.
The Black Lion featured on the Evening Crawl of Hammersmith in July 2006, and the Billing and Cooing: Daytime Crawl of Earls Court, West Brompton, Fulham and Hammersmith in October 2013.
