The Dove is one of London's Real Heritage Pubs and is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the smallest public bar in Britain.

The pub is grade II listed and dates back to the early to mid 18th Century. The wall seating and counter and wweodwork in the vesitible could date back as early as the 18th Century.

The large brick fireplace, with Portland stone carving featuring the Dove sent from Noah's Ark that gives the pub its name, dates back to 1948.

Look out for a brass plaque which marks a water level at which the Thames had reached on the 7th of January 1928.

The Dove featured on Daytime Crawl of Hammersmith, Barnes and Putney in October 2003, the Evening Crawl of Hammersmith in July 2006, and the Billing and Cooing: Daytime Crawl of Earls Court, West Brompton, Fulham and Hammersmith in October 2013.
