Marquis of Lorne

The Marquis of Lorne
49a Dalyell Road
Stockwell
SW9 9SB

The Marquis of Lorne is a grade II listed building. Inside are some inter-war fittings that look as if it is a former Charringtons pub. The fittings include restrained stained glass windows, tapered bar counter, terracotta and buff mosaic tiling at the counter foot, and partitions with rectangular leaded lights. Note the rather splendid "Lovely day for a Guinness" poster.
