Three Compasses

The Three Compasses
62 High Sreet
Hornsey
N8 7NX

This pub is not a listed building but it dates from 1896 and was designed by John Farrer who also designed the now demolished Elephant & Castle pub in what used to be called Newington in SE1 (now the area is named after the Elephant & Castle pub). Although now completely opened out, the Three Compasses used to have three separate drinking areas, including the former billiard room at the rear.

The pub is in the Campaign for Real Ale's (CAMRA) 2014 Good Beer Guide and beer is served in oversized lined glasses so DO NOT ask for a top-up.

The Three Compasses features on LPGs' Daytime Crawl of Hornsey, Crouch End, Crouch Hill and Harringay of February 2014.
