Although this pub is not a listed building, it is on the Campaign for Real Ale’s (CAMRA) Local Inventory with an interior of local historic Iinterest, and the description is as follows: "The bar back is of note and how much is original and how much is replacement is difficult to identify. There is a small ‘fan-shaped’ baffle on the left end of the bar back with an etched and frosted panel that is definitely old. The elaborate bar counter is not that old – possibly from just post-war times – note how it appears to be shorter than the original as the smaller right hand back bar has no counter in front of it; presumably it was two rooms at one time. Lots of exterior windows of note but likely to be quality replacements of original etched glass ones."
