This Victorian pub (built Circa 1860) is a grade II listed building and no doubt catered for those who served the owners/tenants of the grander houses round about. It is at the entrance to a mews. There are two entrances, one at the front and one at the side, which is clear evidence that the now one-room pub would have had at least two drinking areas in former times. The word ‘saloon’ appears in glass at the entrance.
The Leinster Arms featured on the Buzzing About: Evening Crawl of Bayswater in December 2014.
