Albert Arms

1 Gladstone St
Elephant & Castle,
SE1 6EY.

Like the Black Prince and the Prince of Wales, this pub is neither a listed building nor one of London’s Real Heritage Pubs. However, recently refurbished to a high standard, this handsome Victorian corner pub still retains two completely separate rooms and its inter-war windows, reeded wooden wall panelling and bar-backs.

The Albert Arms featured on the Princes' Progress: Evening Crawl of Kennington, Elephant & Castle, and Borough in August 2012.
