This former Courage pub opened in March 2025 as a sister pub to the Southampton Arms, Kentish Town and the Cock Tavern, Hackney. It is locally listed and the description is as follows: “Timber frontage. Stone pilasters with ornate brackets above (lights fixed to brackets). Small timber fascia with dentil cornice riding above. Paned leaded, stained blue glass in centre.”

The pub is also in the London Borough of Islington’s Canonbury Conservation Area. The Brewery History Society’s description is as follows: “A bar since 1984 and possibly an off-licence prior to that, recently uncovered gilt lettering to the fascia with 'COURAGE'S ALE & STOUT'.”
