Although this pub is not a listed building, it is on the Campaign for Real Ale’s (CAMRA) Local Inventory with an interior of local historic interest. It is interesting as an example of the many pubs owned by Sam Smiths in which they have put high-quality modern fittings made to look much older. Here it is the stained glass which is the most outstanding of these features.
