This pub boasts an eye-catching tiled mural (unfortunately having suffered darts damage in the past) on the front bar wall being a panel bearing the arms of the Joiners’ & Ceilers’ Company, one of some 100 City livery companies. Its motto is "Join Truth With Trust".

The Joiners Arms featured on the Daytime Crawl of South East London n June 2007, and the Evening Crawl of Brixton, Herne Hill and Camberwell in April 2009.
