The Bell & Crown featured on the Ancient and Modern: Daytime Crawl of Brentford, Chiswick and Hammersmith in June 2016.

Although this Fullers pub is neither a listed building nor on CAMRA’s London Regional Inventory it was built in 1907 and may be the work of architect, Thomas Henry Nowell Parr as it bears similarities to his Old Pack Horse, Chiswick High Road. The pub is charmingly situated on the river almost opposite the island after which one of its beers (Oliver’s Island) is named. While outside on the Strand on the Green, note the elegance of the pub’s façade and spot the Fullers griffin on the right-hand side.
