The Old Ship featured on the Genesis: Evening Crawl of Homerton and Hackney in August 2016.

Although it is not a listed building, this is a former Courage pub as you can see from the tiling in the passageway from Mare Street. Apart from the tiled passageway the pub has been otherwise modernised and now incorporates a hotel. The décor has an urban vibe.
