The Chesham Arms featured on the Genesis: Evening Crawl of Homerton and Hackney in August 2016.

Although this Victorian pub is not a listed building, it is included on the crawl because it has been saved by the local community from conversion to residential use. It closed in 2012 and reopened in June 2015. Today it is the wonderful result of a well organised campaign. The pub is also the Campaign for Real Ale’s (CAMRA) East London & City Branch’s current (2016) Pub of the Year.
