Orange Tree

18 Highfield Road
Winchmore Hill
N21 3HA

This pub is not a listed building but its interior is of local importance. Built in 1912, its exterior boasts depictions of the eponymous tree on its gables. The tapered bar counter, with matchboard panelling appears original, as does the matchboard panelling on all the walls. The pub is now completely opened up, but the door on the left hand corner would have led to the Public Bar, and that on the right would have led to the Saloon Bar. An unused door in the centre would have led to a (now long lost) jug and bottle bar.

The Orange Tree is yet to feature on a LPG crawl.
