Although this pub is not a listed building, it is on the Campaign for Real Ale’s (CAMRA) Local Inventory with an interior of local historic interest. As you approach this former Courage pub you cannot miss the exterior with its neon-lit “Take Courage” advertisement. Sadly the interior does not nowadays live up to the exterior apart from the wood-panelled walls.
