Old Nun's Head

15 Nunhead Green
Nunhead
SE15 3QQ

This is the official lunch stop. Although this is not a listed building and does not have an interior recognised by CAMRA as being of local importance, it is a prominent ‘Brewer’s Tudor’ pub built in 1934 dominating the south side of Nunhead Green. It may originally have been a Charringtons pub. Inside, wooden wall panelling, fireplaces and door lobbies remain alongside the quirky modern décor.

The Old Nun's Head featured on the Lunar Odyssey: From the Asylum to the Half Moon: Daytime Crawl of Peckham, Nunhead, Dulwich and Herne Hill in October 2017.
