Queensbury

This pub is a revival. Developers wanted to replace the building with a 10-storey block of flats but it was saved from demolition by local campaigners. It has been designated as an Asset of Community Value. The pub is housed in part of the local Conservative Club’s premises. Although it is not a listed building, it is a handsome red-brick building. Inside is a distinctive moulded plaster ceiling with a plain cornice. Although this pub is not the official lunch stop they serve reasonably priced food here.
The Queensbury featured on the Revivals and Survivals: Daytime Crawl of Willesden Green, Cricklewood, Brondesbury, Kilburn and St John's Wood on 23 February 2019.
