This pub is included on the crawl for two reasons: good real ale and good modern interior design. It has a retro feel with hints of American diner: downstairs has bright red high stools, a tumbling blocks parquet floor and an industrial vibe while upstairs is another tumbling blocks floor, bright blue padded bench seats, neon signs and enamel brewery advertisements from Belgium and France. Note also the crinkle crankle staircase linking the two floors.
