Although this pub is not a listed building, it is on the Campaign for Real Ale’s (CAMRA) Local Inventory with an interior of local historic interest, and the description is as follows: "Brick and rendered two-storey pub. As you enter there is a vestibule with doors to the left and right and a partition with glazing (modern?) along the top that creates two separate bars. The left hand bar has a bar counter that looks 1930s with panels possibly added later; the bar back looks more modern than 1930s. Good tiled and wood surround fireplace that looks 1930s work with a new fire installed; some benches may be old The right hand room has a 1930s canted panelled bar counter with the front painted a light brown colour and there is panelling on the walls to three-quarters-height; same bar back which looks more modern than 1930s. A wide gap – was a partition as the top glazed section just below ceiling level remains – leads to an area with more panelling on the walls to three-quarters-height and another tiled and wood surround fireplace that looks 1930s work; some benches may be old. The 1930s canted counter also serves this room. There are signs this was a four-roomed pub (or three rooms and off-sales?), now two. Toilets modernised."
