The Hope and Anchor is a grade II listed Truman's pub dating back to the 1930s.

The pub retains a number of strong architectural features within its interior including a spittoon trough, original brown and white chequered tiling and wood panelled bar backs.

The saloon boasts original brick fireplaces.

As of time of writing (Feb 2013), this important heritage pub is currently closed and up for available to let.
