London Heritage Pubs book coverThe Hope and Anchor, situated close by to Hammersmith Town Hall, is a grade II listed building dating from the 1930s.

The pub is a great example of a very well preserved inter-war Truman's pub. It boasts a number of architectural features, particularly around the bar areas on the ground floor and the brick fireplaces in the saloon.

The pub includes a courtyard garden to the rear and two floors of living accomodation above the ground floor.
