Like the George, this pub is a Grade II listed building and the description is as follows: "C17 altered C18. Red brick, stucco fronted. 2 storeys and attics, 3 former sashes now casements; cambered relieving arches. C19 right hand comer 2-fold door set diagonally under projecting 1st floor and flanked by Tusaan pilasters. Bands at floor levels, hipped old tile roof. Interior: original plain dog-legged staircase with turned balusters. R.C.H.M."
