Although this pub is not a listed building, it is on the Campaign for Real Ale’s (CAMRA) Local Inventory with an interior of local historic interest, and the description is as follows: "This pub has many similarities to the Coach & Horses and is very likely to have also been designed by Quilter, probably in 1934. His trademarks can be seen here: the half-timbered, mock-Tudor exterior; the grape-and-vine-leaves cornices; the Tudor arch details (eg the fire surround and doorways); and the leaded windows."
The Masons Arms featured on the Compact and Bijou: Evening Crawl of Mayfair on 18 April 2012, and the Up West: Evening Pub Tour of Mayfair and Soho on 9 August 2023.
