Directions to next pub: Turn right out of the pub and walk up Plumstead Common Road to the bus stop called Plumstead Common Road/The Ship. Catch a 51, 53 or 291 bus to the stop called Plumstead Road/Woolwich Public market. Alight from the bus, cross over Plumstead Road and turn left. This is the official lunch stop on the crawl for those who wish to eat here but for those who do not it is suggested that they leave early for the next pub, Rose’s, for cheap Pukka pies and crusty rolls.
