Arrive 12.00 Noon (opening time). This pub is the official lunch stop but reasonably priced food is also served at the next pub on the tour, the William the Fourth.

Directions to next pub: Turn left out of the pub and walk along the High Road to bus stop SL (called Leyton Green). Catch a 69 or 97 bus to stop A (called Leyton Station). Arrive: 3.00 PM.

Directions to next pub: Retrace your steps to the bus stop and catch a 58 or 308 bus to stop K (called Wanstead Park Station). Alight from the bus, turn left and continue along Woodgrange Road to the junction with Chestnut Avenue.
