Meet at 12 noon in the lounge bar off the modern hotel lobby at The Crown.
1. The Crown
Arrive: 12.00pm
Address: 142-152 Cricklewood Broadway, Cricklewood, NW2 3ED

Directions to the next pub: Further north along Cricklewood Broadway at number 301 is the Heritage Inn which you may wish to see. It does not open until 4pm on a Saturday but it has a fine exterior.
On leaving the Crown, turn right and walk to the bus stop called Cricklewood Broadway/The Crown. Catch a 16, 32, 189, 316 or 332 bus to the stop called Brondesbury Station. On the way, not far from the Crown, note the Windmill Hotel, 57 Cricklewood Broadway, a fine building with a Flemish gable with a segmented pediment and central window on the first floor with a terracotta moulding underneath depicting a windmill. More windmills are depicted on the gables of the dormer windows. This pub opens at 4pm on a Saturday if you wish to visit it later.
