1. Queens Head

The Queens Head, Uxbridge Arrive: 12.00pm (noon)

Real ales: Up to 7 ever-changing real ales and one real cider (10% discount for card-carrying CAMRA members) are served here.

As the second pub on the crawl does not serve food on Saturdays you may wish to have lunch here at the Queens Head where reasonably priced meals are served.

Close to the Queens Head, in the same street, are two pubs which may have local guest beers of interest, the Metropolitan and the Fig Tree.

Directions to next pub: On leaving the Queens Head or either of the two other pubs mentioned, turn left and walk up Windsor Street then cross over to Uxbridge underground station. Walk into the station to admire the architecture of this grade II listed building. At the ticket barriers turn left and walk up the steps to the exit. Turn left and walk to bus stop O (called Uxbridge Station). Catch a 427 bus to the stop called Hayes Police Station. Alight from the bus, turn left and walk to the pedestrian crossing. 5. Forester

Not far from the Forester, in a westerly direction, is another pub by Nowell Parr, the Grosvenor, 127 Oaklands Road, Hanwell, W7 2DT which has now been reopened by Food & Fuel and serves Trumans and Weird Beard beers so you may wish to visit it.
